Curry Mallet Church of England Primary School
Curry Mallet is proud of its primary school, judged to be outstanding by Ofsted in March 2014.
The small school has just three classes, and aims to provide a stimulating, safe and happy environment where children can develop their full potential. The staff endeavour to give them a variety of wide experiences and challenges which will instil a love of learning. The children are encouraged to develop their independence and there is a focus on problem solving and the development of those skills which will prepare them for the next stage of their education and beyond.
The family atmosphere of our village school allows staff to know each child very well and children enjoy a sense of belonging as well as the valuable experience of being part of a community. The school has good links with All Saints Church in the village, with the vicar and the church youth worker being regular visitors.
Curry Mallet School believes that academic success and creativity go hand in hand, so at all times resources and the environment are used to enhance the learning experience. Creativity is embedded across the curriculum which enables children to relate learning to every day experiences.
The school has a strong team committed to provide all the children with high quality first hand experiences which make them into enthusiastic, independent resourceful learners.
