The PTFA is a charity run by parents. We rely on volunteers and need to expand our volunteer pool to reduce the burden on the few. So here is our ‘call to arms’. We are seeking volunteers - whether you are parents of children who are currently at the school or of children who have left, grandparents, family, friends, local businesses, councillors, residents of Curry Mallet and the surrounding villages or those who are happy to simply lend a hand. Whether you can only spare an hour once a term, could offer a raffle prize, bake cakes or lend a professional hand, any contribution would be greatly received. In the past the PTFA have put on a wide range of events including Christmas and Easter fairs, discos, film nights and the all important leavers BBQ raising amazing amounts of money. The funds raised have enabled us to contribute towards the cost of teaching assistants, new computers, books and other materials as well as funds towards school trips. This is what the PTFA would like to continue to do! So please, if you are able to help us make our fabulous school that little bit more special, email the PTFA at firstname.lastname@example.org with your details and an explanation of how you can help. If you have any questions or would like to speak to one of the Committee, please telephone Charlotte Allard (PTFA Secretary) on 480828, evenings only. Thank you!
